Safely arrived in Asuncion!
We had a smooth and uneventful flight on COPA airlines, arriving here last night at 11:30 pm. It took us a while to get our Paraguay Visas and get through the airport. We were met by our host, Bjarne Fostervold, and made the 15 min drive to where we are spending the next few days. (We are staying in a missionary guest house here in Asuncion until we go to the camp for the teacher conference beginning on Monday.). His wife, Rosalba had some fresh fruit ready as a bedtime snack, and we were in bed by 1:30am.
Today we are organizing the schedule for the conference and resting up for the week ahead.

The lady in the middle of this last picture is Fay Buckman, a sweet lady from Carla’s church who came with us on this trip. Her husband Larry was the contact that led us to this opportunity to work with the Ache teachers.
