Today was a day of rest and refreshment! After a breakfast of pecan pancakes and bacon, we headed .org to New Life Community Church on the ABU campus. Bert was the guest preacher today, preaching on Acts 6 and the need for deacons in the church.
This afternoon was a very special time spent with our driver from last year. Zac came over to our side if the city especially to attend church and spend the afternoon with us. It is so interesting how God brought Zac into our lives at just the time when he was looking for a way to get some on-line theological studies, and we introduced him to the Third Millinium studies that are a required part of our PS78Teachers online Masters program. Zac has finished the 27 hours of studies, thoroughly appreciates how it has increased his knowledge of the Bible, and is waiting for his certificate of completion!
So, we took Zac to lunch at a nearby restaurant and then walked back to the beautiful ABU campus for an afternoon of good fellowship and conversation. It was so good to see Zac!
Quentin is on his way up to New Hope Uganda for 4 days of working with the teachers there and teaching them his workshop on ESL.
