The last two days at Faith Jr. School addressed teaching strategies in light of the truth that children are made in the image of God, provided many, many great examples of how to use children’s books to help children learn and gave us fun times of laughter together. Whenever the teachers gave a “presentation” or played one of the fun learning games Quentin taught them or learned how to do a potato/spoon relay race and create a classroom book about it with Carla, they laughed. A lot! It was contagious! And so much fun! Enjoy a few pictures of these incredible teachers! And please pray for them. Life for them is difficult.

Pastor Joseph (pictured below with Nancy Williams and his wife) is a church planter working with Shalom Ministries in Uganda, a very effective church revitalization program started by Nancy’s husband, Bert Williams (MTW).
Below is the new church building for Christian Faith Church (they hope to add walls and a permanent roof this next year). Joseph has big plans for the church, the school, and the whole community.
The “Team” made it back to Kampala late Saturday, had a quick pizza, and then Quentin and Carla moved to the home of ARTS’ President, Dave Eby, and his wife, Darlene. Please pray as Carla starts teaching “Historical and Philosophical Foundations of Christian School Education” to 2nd-year M.C.E. Seminary students. No, it will NOT be as boring as the name sounds!! Quentin will teach a course for Christian school administrators next week.
