Today is the first day of our 5-day teacher training. We have 22 teachers, including the school principal. Other than a couple power outages and the printer not working well, the first day is going good. When the power goes out, we have to open windows and doors for air flow because the air conditioner goes off, then when it comes back on, close them – slight distraction.
It has been nice to re-aquaint with the teachers we met when we were here last summer. There are also a couple new ones because the school in Docine will be adding high school grades this coming school year.

The rest of today will be spent relaxing then getting organized for tomorrow. It is amazing how quickly this heat zaps our energy.
