About

The Mission of PS78Teachers is to encourage an interest in, and to facilitate the creation of, God-centered day schools and home schools in evangelical churches worldwide, and to equip teachers for these schools. All instruction is shaped by a Reformed biblical view of education. A key component of this ministry is an online Teacher Education Program.

“PS78” is a reference to Psalms 78:4, a verse that commands the people of God to “not hide” but to pass on to the next generation the “glorious deeds of the Lord.” Our aim is to equip parents and teachers with the knowledge, skills, and passion needed to more fully and faithfully carry out this task and to avoid teaching in such a way that God is perceived to be irrelevant and, therefore, hidden from our children.

We all are back on U.S. soil! After a three-day delay in getting out of Haiti, we left Ennery at 6:30 am yesterday and arrived at the Port Au Prince airport by 11:00 a.m.  We cannot express how grateful we are for so many prayers on our behalf.   While we never were...

We are still here in Haiti, "sheltering in place" as we've been told, and we are so grateful for the place we are staying put, it could have been much worse. Psalm 121 assures us of God's watch care over us. We have internet access, one U.S. news station, coffee, and...

Well, we thought we were headed home today, but it is not going to happen. We woke up this morning, knowing there was some unrest in Haiti and not realizing the extent until we got notified one-by-one that our flights have been cancelled. The major road blocks were in...

Out fifth and last day of teacher training. This morning Carla started the day by reading a children's book, "The Runaway Bunny," to the class. She then related a biblical lesson from this secular book explaining how it is our bent to often sin and run from God, but...
