Another early morning.  We left our lodgings to go to the church to get ready for session one of the parent workshops on “Shepherding a Child’s Heart”.

We had a really good audience of close to 50 parents of the children at New Horizon.  It was very encouraging to see how many of the fathers came for an 8 am meeting on a workday.

Dale did a great job, as well as Ellen translating what he said into Spanish.  Session two will be in the morning, again at 8 am.

We spent the second half of the morning and first part of the afternoon back at the school for teacher observations and interviews.

Carla chatting with Lupita, the school administrator.

Dale, with Ellen translating, meeting with Fernanda, the biology teacher.

I enjoyed watching the children as they played on the playground and took their swimming classes.  They all have such beautiful happy faces!

After we left the school, we took Ellen and Elvira out to a churrasco restaurant for a late-afternoon meal, then came back to our casa to relax and get ready for another early morning.
